About Us

Bruce Jeffrey (Jaffa Marketing Services) and Mickie de Stoop (Jomima Productions) joined forces in 2006 after discovering a mutual belief in the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community.

A journalist, Mickie has enjoyed a long career producing and presenting news and current affairs programs on television and radio. Health issues were always of particular interest to her.

Bruce has spent many years at the coal-face in the graphic design & printing industries and his interest in healthy life choices even determined that he would work only with a company whose printing initiatives placed environmental safeguards as a top priority.

Both believe that each neighbourhood pharmacy is in the best position to provide the most accessible and important advice and help on health matters for individuals and families within their community.

They believe pharmacists can:

  • Provide value added services that inform & assist their communities
  • Build a reputation of true commitment to the wellbeing of customers through friendly dialogue
  • Keep customers up to date with the latest, relevant health research
  • Make people aware of the tragic effects the loss of community pharmacies would have if laws were introduced to allow supermarkets to include dispensaries

Bruce and Mickie have developed a range of personalised newsletters that not only assist pharmacists in achieving these aims but also provide the opportunity for them, and their teams, to become truly involved members of their community.

“We’ve been using the newsletters for 5 years now and they have brought us closer to our customers. People know the pharmacy team at a more personal level and that makes a big difference. I think they are really happy to feel that we are offering them a free service that gives them a lot of great tips about staying healthy.”
